It’s for your own good.  Father Ted is a classic british sit-com about three Irish Catholic priests living together in the tiny, remote parish of Craggy Island. Ted is an egotist, Dougal is an idiot, and Jack is a lecherous drunk. Beyond that, nothing I say can do justice to the places it goes. It is one of the best-loved and least reverent bits of TV ever to come out of the UK, and if you have any taste at all for the bleak, the absurd or the downright surreal, you owe it to yourself to click these links.
